      1998年和1999年夏中国和日本科学家合作在安徽淮河流域进行了第一次大规模的能量与水循环试验(WCRP/GEWEX/GAME/HUBEX),其重点是研究东亚梅雨锋系的多尺度,多系统的结构、特征、生命史、发生发展机理及其引起洪涝灾害的原因。这是第一次中日合作的气象与水文联合观测试验,在此加强观测的基础上,双方进一步进行了长达5年的资料整理分析和科学研究工作,整个HUBEX试验与研究取得了全面和丰硕的成果。本文将介绍该计划所取得的主要成果,并以现在科学进展的视野重新评估了这些成果的科学意义和不足,
英文摘要:
      In summers of 1998 and 1999 the Chinese and Japanese scientists cooperatively made the first large-scale energy and water cycle experiment in the basin of the Huaihe river, Anhui province of China (WCRP/GEWEX/GAME/HUBEX). The major objectives of this field experiment (HUBEX) was to investigate the multiple-scale structure characteristics, the life cycles, the genesis and development mechanisms as well as the cause of related flooding disasters for the Meiyu system in East Asia. It was a joint China-Japan cooperactive meteorological and hydrological observation experiment. On this basis of the intensive observations, the two partners continued to make a follow-up research for another five years to make the data reduction and compilation as well as the analysis and scientific research. It can be concluded that the HUBEX project had made a comprehensive and remarkable achievements. This paper will introduce the major scientific results derived from this project and reassess their merits and shortages, in order to provide useful experiences and new research targets and vision for the initiation of a new joint scientific Meiyu experiment in the middle and lower Yangtze River Basin.
